We’ve all seen the extravagant theme parties on Pinterest.
You know the ones I’m talking about. There’s the bridal shower brunch served on vintage china with imported French macarons and floral arrangements that rival the botanical gardens. Or the princess party with horse-drawn carriage rides, life-size balloon castle and five-tier birthday cake. These events are impressive, no doubt. But most of us simply can’t afford such lavish affairs. (And even if we could, we might argue that our resources could be better used elsewhere.)
Hosting a memorable event doesn’t have to cost a fortune. If you’re a maker like me, you don’t mind taking on a project that will save you some cash. But one project can quickly turn into five, and before you know it, something that was supposed to be fun has turned into a major source of stress. This has happened to me more times than I’d like to admit, but I’ve learned how to scale back and hone in on the elements of a party that make the biggest impact. A few carefully-chosen details can leave a lasting impression on your guests.
Here at Sprinkles Studio, I’ll help you craft stunning events on a modest budget. From the DIY hacks I share on my blog to the affordable party goods I sell in my shop, I’m all about frugal fun!
About Me
I’m happiest when I’m creating — whether it’s on my computer, in the kitchen or with my craft supplies. When I can share my creations with family and friends, that’s what I consider pure bliss. There’s nothing I enjoy more than bringing my favorite people together over a meal, some sweet treats and a well-decorated table.
I live in northeast Ohio with my sports writer husband and our twin girls. It was their first birthday party that inspired me to open my Etsy shop after 10 years of designing for corporate clients.
A few of my favorites include chai tea, organizational storage, Thin Mints, fuzzy socks and of course, sprinkles.
